Mexico’s largest oil refinery opens, but still not in operation

The president of Mexico is convinced he must make his nation self-sufficient when it comes to energy. For years, Mexico has been dependent on imported fuel.

A key part of the Mexican president’s strategy is to construct new gasoline and diesel fuel refinery. That new plant was inaugurated in early July, but it’s still not operating.
