Without finding resistance, the Taliban entered Kabul on August 15th of last year. Putting an end of twenty years of U.S. occupation of the country.

The hasty U.S. withdrawal from the country caused scenes of chaos in the streets of Kabul. A move that was criticized by the international community.

Afghanistan now is facing a dire economy and lack of food, a situation exacerbated by the end of the flow of international aid.

But the country now lives a new moment in recent history: of peace.
