Native groups meet to defend Amazon from climate change

Indigenous leaders from nine Amazon Countries gathered in the Peruvian capital Lima this week to launch a bid to save 80 percent of the Amazon by 2025.

Native leaders from across the Amazon made their proposals to combat climate change by saving the world’s largest tropical rainforest from the brink of destruction.
