The United Nations General Assembly is well underway in New York as world leaders gather to discuss some of the most pressing global issues.
Climate change, food security, education and the Russia–Ukraine crisis are all on the agenda among other issues.
CGTN’s Dezhi Xu spoke with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres about the challenges the UN faces right now.
Sustainability is another key part of this year’s assembly – refocusing the United Nations’ 17 sustainable development goals and accomplishing them by 2030.
