Mobilizing and helping victims of long COVID in the U.S.

World Today

Up to 23 million people across the United States may be suffering from long COVID, living with a variety of symptoms that last for months, long after being infected by the coronavirus.

While some of the symptoms can be defined as fatigue, headaches, or loss of taste and smell, some cases are associated with excruciating pain, neurologic symptoms, and sleep deprivation that can devastate lives.

In the absence of concrete medical advice or support from the government, many victims have turned to each other for help.
