Solar energy industry worried about future disruptions to its market

Nearly a quarter of all the electricity generated in the U.S. for the first half of this year came from hydropower, solar and wind.

It follows a record-high jump in U.S. imports of solar panels in 2021.

But industry experts are worried about the disruption in the solar energy market, following an investigation that effectively froze most imports from Southeast Asian countries earlier this year.
