With critical midterm elections in the United States fast approaching, the political spotlight was back on Washington this week.

The House Committee investigating the January 6th 2021 assault on the Capitol, by supporters of former President Donald Trump, held what may be its last hearing on Thursday. But, it may not be over yet. The committee now wants to hear directly from Trump after voting to subpoena him for a formal deposition.
