Candidates across America are heading into the final days of a political battle that will determine who controls the U.S. House and Senate.
But, the big political story on Friday was an attack on the husband of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Police say 82-year-old Paul Pelosi was violently assaulted at the couple’s San Francisco home in the early morning. The assailant allegedly struck Pelosi with a hammer. Police and the FBI are investigating the motive.
