President Biden delivers MLK Day sermon as controversy around documents brews

U.S. President Joe Biden has paid tribute to his “political hero,” Martin Luther King Jr, on what would have been the late civil right campaigner’s 94th birthday.

In a part-sermon part-political address at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, the President urged the country to be inspired by the minister’s lifetime mission to “redeem the soul of America.”

But his speech at King’s former church comes as Mr. Biden continues to face pressure from investigations into his potential mishandling of classified documents,
