The city of Los Angeles hosted its annual Golden Dragon Parade, which is hosted by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce. The annual event, which is attended by Los Angeles’ large Asian-American community, celebrates the lunar new year.

In honor of the year of the rabbit, thousands of people participated in the event’s festivities, which included families feasting on a plethora of New Year delicacies, while also witnessing the large display of fireworks put on by the event.

The Golden Dragon Parade dates back to the early 1900s, when it was known as the La Fiesta de Los Angeles. It has since become a large cultural event that welcomes people from all walks of life as they immerse themselves in this New Year celebration.
