The death toll from Saturday’s 6.5-magnitude in Ecuador is now at least 15 people, while hundreds mored suffered injuries.

Ecuador’s president has declared a state of emergency as officials work to respond to the disaster and assess damages.

The province of El Oro took the hardest hit.
