How will Donald Trump’s legal problems impact the 2024 U.S. presidential race? 

It’s been a historic week in the U.S. with former President Donald Trump arrested and charged in New York over allegations surrounding payments to a former porn star and allegedly falsifying business records.  

Americans are now waiting to see how all of this may play out in the 2024 presidential election. Trump, who entered a not guilty plea, is already running for the White House again. But, will his legal issues undermine the campaign or give it new energy?  

And, what about President Biden? Will the 80-year-old run again? And, if so, why is he holding off on making an announcement?
