Canada is hitting back against U.S. tariffs. Although Canada avoided any new tariffs on U.S. President Donald Trump’s so-called ‘liberation day’, Washington had already imposed a host of tariffs on its neighbor, including 25% tariffs on auto exports to the U.S. which took effect Thursday, April 3.
Now Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney is responding, with similar auto tariffs on the U.S. CGTN’s Dan Williams reports.
