Scientists predicting more severe hurricanes at the end of this century

It’s hurricane season in the U.S. and tropical storms and would-be hurricanes have picked up in frequency in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans in recent weeks. The National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) is now looking much further ahead at how hurricanes could behave in the years to come.
