Government representatives from Nigeria have joined U.S. and UK officials in London for a summit on how to fight against the Islamist group Boko Haram. The issue remains in the spotlight after gunmen from Boko Haram kidnapped more than 200 girls in Nigeria.
Representatives from Benin, Cameroon, Chad, Niger and Nigeria joined those from the UN, USA, UK to discuss the threat of Boko Haram.
The British Foreign Secretary William Hague chaired to meeting – with topics on the table including improving regional co-ordination and looking at further options to combat terrorism. CCTV’s Dan Whitehead reports from London.
