If there’s any animal that symbolizes Australia besides the kangaroo, it’s the cuddly koala. Staff at a koala sanctuary in the Brisbane, Australia are preparing their star attractions to welcome world leaders in a special photo op with participants of the G-20 summit.

With the summit about to begin in Brisbane, CCTV America’s Xia Ruixue reported this story Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, the largest koala sanctuary in the world.

Around 130 koalas make the Australian koala sanctuary their home. They are used to human contact and are cuddled nearly every day. Koalas rest up to 20 hours a day, so handlers take extra care not to disturb their normal routine, despite preparations for their close up with leaders around the globe.
