The recent Oscar-winning film “Roma,” by Mexican director Alfonso Cuaron, drew the world’s attention to an issue that has been overlooked for ages – the rights of domestic workers around the world.

Despite recent reforms, domestic workers remain a part of the informal labor sector in several Latin American countries.

They have limited benefits and no access to social security.

Correspondent Lara Rodriguez shows us what the Mexican government is doing to change the status quo of domestic workers.
