The recent Oscar-winning film “Roma,” by Mexican director Alfonso Cuaron, drew the world’s attention to an issue that has been overlooked for ages – the rights of domestic workers around the world.
Despite recent reforms, domestic workers remain a part of the informal labor sector in several Latin American countries.
They have limited benefits and no access to social security.
