Every S&P 500 company now has a woman on board

For women wanting to make their mark on Wall Street, it’s been uphill battle.

But this year marks somewhat of a turning point. More women are rising in the ranks than ever before to become board members at major U.S. companies.

For the first time ever, not a single company on the S&P 500 index is without at least one female board member.

At this point, more than 25% of the board seats of S&P companies are held by women.
