The largest gas utility company in the United States has proposed to build what would be the nation’s largest green hydrogen energy infrastructure system.
Southern California’s Gas Company, SoCal Gas, says the move will allow California to dramatically advance its climate and environmental goals.
While some experts and public officials hail the move as a big win for a reliable and inexpensive source of energy, there are questions about its cost and environmental impact.
