Millions of Americans are currently suffering from Long COVID, living with a variety of symptoms that can last for months, long after being infected with the virus.
While some of the symptoms can be defined as fatigue, headaches, or loss of taste and smell, some cases are associated with excruciating pain, neurologic symptoms, and sleep deprivation that can devastate lives.
A recent study by the Radiological Society of North America revealed that significant brain abnormalities were reported in patients with long COVID. But experts say, a lot more research is needed to understand its full impact.
