Friends and colleagues remembered the seven aid workers from World Central Kitchen that were killed when their convoy was struck in Gaza by an Israeli airstrike on April 1, 2024. Services were held in Washington D.C.’s National Cathedral, not far from the organization’s headquarters.
They were remembered as selfless, caring individuals — working to make the world a better place in the face of overwhelming suffering, killed while delivering much needed food to hard-hit Gaza. CGTN’s Jim Spellman reports.
