Port of Los Angeles sets record amid tariff concerns

The Port of Los Angeles recently became the first U.S. seaport, airport or border crossing to top $30 billion in two-way trade in one month, according to an analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data. China accounts for nearly 37% of that trade, but ahead of President-elect Donald Trump taking office, economists are warning of a ripple effect if Trump makes good on threats to impose new tariffs.
