In an effort to celebrate the global impact of philanthropy, The Rockefeller Foundation, one of the largest philanthropic organizations in the world, commissioned acclaimed American artist Phil Hansen to interpret the “art of philanthropy”.
Hansen chose to share the stories of people from all around the world whose lives have been touched by philanthropy.
When Full Frame visited Hansen at his studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota he told us that philanthropy is a means of empowering people to overcome the limitations in their lives.
But in his personal journey as an artist, and in his approach to life, Hansen has decided to embrace limitations as a gift – allowing him to take his creativity to a new level.
After hearing Phil’s story in his own words, you may be inspired to seek out the power of limitations in your own life – and embrace some “shakes” along the way.
