Voter Turnout Low in Egypt Elections

World Today

Egypt’s presidential election was extended into a third day Wednesday, after low turnout during the first two days of balloting.
Few showed-up to vote on the third day, as well.

Observers say Egypt’s de facto leader, Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi, was counting on high turnout to show he has widespread public support.
One egyptian citizen said he didn’t vote because he believes, no matter what the ballots say, el-Sissi will be named the victor.
CCTV’s Robert Nagila is in Cairo and has more on why Egyptians are not voting.
