The ZMapp serum could be the most promising treatment for the Ebola virus that has seized West Africa with no signs of abating. Its mixture of antibodies has been given to the two American aid workers who became infected with the virus when they were in the region.
The treatment, which was developed by a California company, has shown promise in animal trials, yet had never been tested on humans before. CCTV America’s YaKenda McGahee reports.
