US Attorney General in Missouri to investigate Ferguson shooting

Global Business

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is in Missouri for an update on the investigation into the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson. Some protesters say there is an ongoing race problem in that city.

Holder arrives on the 10th consecutive night of protesters facing police officers in the streets of Ferguson. Protesters called on Holder to press local officials to prosecute the police officer who shot the black teenager.

Local residents said the frustrations of the black community in that area go farther than the recent shooting. Many point to harsh economic times facing some parts of the city as a cause for the ongoing tensions.
