Nigeria is claiming progress its battle to contain Ebola. The virus killed five people in its commercial capital, Lagos. But of the eight others infected, all but one has been discharged.
When Liberian Patrick Sawyer flew into Lagos last month, he brought the Ebola virus with him. Ebola killed him and infected several who had contact with him, four of which died.
Onyebuchi Chukwu the Nigerian Minister of Health said there is one is confirmed case now left in the isolation center in Lagos. The patient is a spouse of one of the doctors who treated Sawyer.
