It’s maybe best to say ‘don’t try this at home’ when it comes to the latest trend in extreme sports. It is called “Wingsuit flying” and it’s basically flying through the air with a suit made to resemble wings.

Online videos of daredevils have reached a global audience, and that has safety experts worried.

Wingsuiters first started jumping off the side of the Brevent mountain near Chamonix in the French Alps in June 2012. Thanks to online videos, there are now 30 or so jumps a day at the Brevent mountain, raising concerns about the dangers of this sport.
