Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu travels to the U.S. this week to address the U.N. General Assembly and to confer at the White House with President Obama. CCTV America’s Roee Ruttenberg reports.

One of the things that is on the agenda is the growing threat of the Islamic State and what role Israel might play in the latest escalation by the terrorist group. Israel is said to have one of the region’s strongest militaries.

For now, its border with Syria remains mostly quiet.
