It’s been more than a week since a strong 6.6 magnitude earthquake rocked parts of China’s Yunnan Province. As life slowly returns to normal, a sure sign of recovery is the reopening of 88 schools.
CCTV’s Liu Yang reports.

On Monday, the 88 elementary and high schools across Jinggu County re-started classes in the temporary shelters, since their classrooms are still too dangerous to be in.
Soldiers from Yunnan, armed police forces, army and air force members, and volunteers helped build temporary classrooms.
Experts said some schools will be torn down and others were in urgent need of repair.
