One U.S. based non-profit foundation, called Cuba Emprende, is helping finance free business training and start-up courses on the island.

Our correspondent Michael Voss visited one of their star pupils, Niuris Higueras, who owns and runs, Atelier, one of the most successful private restaurants in Havana.
