US governor of Virginia wants to build agricultural ties with Cuba

  • Though the US has allowed agricultural exports to Cuba since 2000, they are limited and heavily regulated. The 54 year old embargo remains. Only Congress can lift it and that’s something the Governor of the state of Virginia wants to see happen as he told a farming conference for his state.
