For many years, the Caminito del Rey in Southern Spain was known as the world’s scariest walkway. The three-kilometer path claimed the lives of numerous adventurers as it fell into disrepair, but that is no longer the case. CCTV’s Dan Williams found out the walkway is now turning into a major tourist attraction.

More details:

  • Set some 100 meters above a river, the Caminito del Rey, or the Kings little pathway, was built originally in 1905 to access the hydro-electric power station.
  • At a cost of $3.3 million, a new pathway has been built just a few feet above the old one.
