With less than a year before Rio de Janeiro hosts South America’s first Olympic and Paralympic games ever, organizers are facing many challenges.

One of the biggest challenges is to make the city accessible for the 4,000 plus disabled athletes expected to compete in the Paralympics and the many disabled fans who will flock to the city to watch.
