Citizens of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea return to work, after a weekend of festivities marking the 70th anniversary of the ruling Workers’ Party. The highlight was a military parade in Pyongyang. But, while the parade celebrated achievements of the past, there is evidence that the DPRK has had some economic success.
