In face of rampant inflation, Venezuela to issue larger-denomination notes

Venezuela’s Central Bank said it intends to issue larger-denomination bank notes, as citizens in the Latin American nation struggle to cope with rampant inflation, which is the world’s highest.

The government also planned to raise the country’s minimum wage by 20 percent in March.
