Martial arts star Daniel Wu trains often with Matt Lucas who runs a yoga and martial arts studio in Oakland, California.
Lucas has been practicing martial arts for 30 years and yoga since he was a teenager. He is an expert in karate, taekwondo, judo, Persian nabard, and bagua.
“I had sway back, bad painful bow legs, bad joints, and a slightly painful scoliosis,” Lucas writes on his website. “The posture work and opening of yoga with the strengthening of martial arts helped remedy what I was told were limitations… Now I’m fine, no pain, strong joint and spine.”
Lucas shared some basic yoga-to-martial-arts moves with CCTV America. Follow him on Twitter at: @theopenmatt
