A female sommelier in Mexico City helps make wine the toast of the town

In Mexico, men dominate the wine industry. But the only person to hold the top three credentials by the Society of Wine Educators is a woman. Sandra Fernández is one of Mexico’s most well-known sommeliers.

Sandra’s spent the last 20 years as a wine enthusiast pushing and promoting Mexican wines. Sandra also runs a public relations agency that focuses on wine to promote the growing culture.
