But having such high-profile talks right in the heart of Manhattan presents challenges for local officials.

Security for President-elect Trump presents major headache to NYCA native New Yorker, Donald Trump has suggested that when he becomes president he may continue to spend time at Trump Tower. That means security scenes like this may become a more permanent fixture on the city's iconic 5th Avenue. CCTV America's William Denselow reports.
The 58-story tall Trump Tower is not only home to the president-elect but is also used by hundreds of other residents and many businesses.
Law enforcement said those living in the building have been vetted and security analysts are confident that the city’s experience hosting large events means that Trump is in safe hands.
But located on 5th Avenue, one of the world’s most iconic shopping destinations, the extra security and road closures around Trump Tower are being felt by locals and tourists alike.
It’s a headache for New Yorkers that might not be going away anytime soon.
