There are a countless number of girls and women doing extraordinary things; things that largely go unnoticed. Artist Lori Pratico wants to change that; she wants to shine a spotlight on them, even if it’s brief. She’s doing this with her nationwide charcoal mural project, Girl Noticed, aimed at empowering women and empowering girls by recognizing their potential.
Lori’s goal is to notice someone in every state by creating large, exterior murals. Full Frame caught up with her in Cincinnati as she was noticing a mother and daughter doing incredible things for the immigrants in their community.
