NYC restaurants scrap no-tip experiments

An effort by a few restaurants in New York to do away with tipping has left some with a bitter taste in the mouth.

Servers rely on tips to supplement their wages.

A number of restaurants in recent years have scrapped the system in an effort to give their staff a more stable salary, but many in the industry haven’t found this alternative to be an appetizing solution.
