As the 2018 midterm elections approach, the U.S. economy remains strong and unemployment is near historic lows.

But the rosy picture belies an expanding gap between the rich and poor, a result of stagnant wages and income inequality. CGTN’s Nick Harper reports from New York, where that disparity is particularly acute.
