Teaching kids how to “ride” high so they don’t “get” high in Colombia

It’s called rollerblading in some countries, inline speed skating or simply “blading” in others. Some consider it a hobby but it’s also a professional sport.

For a group of kids in Colombia it’s become an athletic activity that has changed their lives.

It’s all thanks to one man, the founder of a skating club in a city that didn’t offer many recreational options. He led a community effort to build a skating park that keeps kids away from drugs.

Now the park is helping put them on a natural high.
