It’s been almost 40 years since the Iranian Revolution, and that nation is still very much in the headlines. From tensions in the Persian Gulf to the U.S. withdrawal from the landmark 2015 nuclear agreement – and the U.S. position on economic sanctions.

Ambassador John Limbert used to live in Iran and has traveled there extensively. He was also one of the 52 American hostages seized at the U.S. embassy in Tehran in 1979. He has a unique perspective and joined us with his take on the current crisis.
