They’re crossing over into a musical genre that some say isn’t meant to be theirs: punk-rock music. Usually dominated by Anglo-American bands, these groups are of Latino descendant.
Sons and daughters of Mexican and Central American immigrants are writing and singing songs about current events, from US-waged wars around the world, to gun violence and female rights.
