A U.S. mayor claims he had COVID-19 last November, over one month before China reported its initial cases.

Michael Melham, the mayor of Belleville, New Jersey, has said that he tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies.

He thinks he was sick with the virus in November 2019, more than a month before first cases of the coronavirus were first reported in China.
