There have been days of protests since an officer shot Jacob Blake in the back seven times. The moment was caught on cell-phone video. But the police union claims Blake fought and resisted arrest. His family and lawyer deny that, as a state investigation continues.
This has attracted attention across the U.S. in renewed calls for racial justice, while others criticize rioting and advocate “law and order.”
