After being canceled this year for the first time in over a century, Rio de Janeiro’s iconic Carnival Parade is ​coming back​ for 2022.

With more than 70 percent of its 13 million people fully vaccinated against COVID-19, the city’s samba schools started to stage what they hope will be memorable parade.
