U.S. faces nationwide blood crisis amid COVID pandemic

There’s a blood crisis in the U.S. with supplies running critically low.

The American Red Cross has declared its first ever national emergency, and it’s encouraging people to donate.

Some centers are reporting less than one day’s supply of certain types of blood.
