Los Angeles becomes a wildlife friendly city

The city of Los Angeles is the largest city in the United States to be certified as a “wildlife habitat” by the National Wildlife Federation.

Since earning that recognition almost a year ago, many of the city’s institutions, including libraries, schools, and museums have been participating in an effort to maintain and enhance the local biodiversity by making spaces available for wildlife. Individual residents can also participate by simply using their smart phones.

CGTN’s Ediz Tiyansan reports.
